Off to my fieldwork in Recife
Here I am in Recife, state of Pernambuco, the Brazilian Caribbean. Cristal clear waters, stunningly beautiful white sand beaches with warm waters and tide pools.
It is a paradise indeed.
However, is a paradise still a paradise if you fail to have inner peace? You know it isn’t. I am not saying that I lack inner peace. I mean, I am not a Sanyasi or a yogui who masters the art of deep meditation and concentration. Far from that. I have my moments of anxiety and distress and no matter how gorgeous a beach may be: when they kick in, I will not be OK.
For the time being, however, I am OK. So a white sand beach with warm clean waters always helps. Also with the help of Fábio Melo :)
